Avocado harvests -- connecting to nature, team building, and fun

Why not join us during our Bacon, Fuerte and Hass avocado harvests? This is a wonderful activity because no matter your age or level of fitness you can join in. Everyone taking part will come away with a wealth of knowledge about avocados, will have experienced at first hand the satisfaction of harvesting food and will have a new perspective on what's involved in running a sub-tropical and citrus fruit farm.

You will learn all there is to know about avocados -- why they grow where they grow and the different types of avocado -- as well as how to pick and handle them whilst harvesting. We wish to share our passion for sustainably grown food and to allow guests to engage with the plants and the surroundings in a positive way. Avocations are all about working together in a group, communication, and most importantly, connection to each other, nature and oneself.

Farm Tour

July - October - available by prior arrangement only, booking essential

This 2-hour tour allows visitors to experience at first hand what an avocado and citrus farm is like, how a drip-feed irrigation system works, and to learn about the different types of avocados and fruit trees that grow here.

 

We strongly advise guests to wear comfortable walking shoes as we shall be on uneven fields and terraces. At the end of your tour, you will be able to enjoy a glass of Moscatel wine and some homemade tapas. 

 

Our tour can be in English, Spanish or German. Please contact us to book and confirm time of tour.

 

Price 55€ per person. Children under 12 free.
